Thank you for visiting my site and welcome
Let’s jump right in.
I am a women.
I am 34.
I live in Montreal Quebec.
I am a personal trainer. I like to camp, explore my beautiful city and basically anything to do with wellness. For me that means strength training, yoga, meditation and plant based cooking.
Probably the most important thing you need to know about me is that fairly recently I decided to get my shit together. Specifically my ass. In April of 2016 I began training and as of last week have lost 100 lbs. I achieved this through a lot sweating and a complete change in my eating habits. I went from legit carnivore with an undying love for bacon, to a vegetarian, and in the last year made the switch to vegan. Going vegan has definitely been challenging as I am still in the “If you eat cheese near me I may jump you” phase. But more on that in a future post.
This new-found discipline and success is exactly what drove me to complete my Personal Training Certification, leave my career to pursue my mission to help other women find the same success I have, and this site.
I have learned that achieving something that one never thought possible can open up a lot of new possibilities. You begin to see yourself in a different light, a more positive one that quells all the negative self talk we all have rolling around in our heads. Success really gives you a boost, and possibly a false sense of competence. We shall see!
Let me reiterate that I am by no means a seasoned pro, I am fairly certain I will never have the confidence to claim an expertise in anything, that’s just how I roll. But I love to share what I know with other and through writing I feel at the very least I can give you a safe space to learn from my mistakes, take inspiration from my triumphs and get an honest and real commentary on the struggles of being a women navigating the path of living a healthy life and starting a business.
I hope my experiences and openness will help you reach whatever goals you have set for yourself. Most importantly though I hope you have a few laughs along the way 🙂
